For optimum weight loss you need a 3 dimensional approach to help you lose weight and keep it off. The 12 Week Weight Loss Program arms you with everything you need to succeed. We cover nutrition and exercise but also tie them together with professional behaviour consultations to help you really get the results you want.

 

We're with you all the way

We do not run group sessions, the program is totally on an individual, one to one basis. The course includes 6 consultation sessions in addition to regular 1 hour personal fitness sessions. This means you have one to one contact most weeks, or sometimes more depending on which option you go for. Over the 12 week course we are available continuously for support to help you stay on track.

 

1. nutrition

What you eat is clearly a large part of losing weight. You get individual assessment followed by educational sessions with a nutritional therapist, specifically tailored to your needs. We work closely to improve your food choices, attitudes towards food and provide clear guidelines on how to lose weight through what you eat. Meal plans are also provided.

 

2. fitness

Exercise helps weight loss in a number of ways. A well planned routine will boost metabolism, which is key to burning more calories during the day and will keep weight off for longer. The simple `fat burning` element of exercise helps reduce body fat but the correct exercise can also create an `afterburn` effect, melting calories for up to 24 hours after you exercise. You will attend regular Personal Training sessions and be including a prescription of exercise in your weekly schedule.

 

3. behaviour

A number of consultations include behavioural sessions with a Doctor of Clinical Psychology. Changing your behaviour is the key to seeing true results. This is truly what makes our weight loss programs unique, wrapping the whole package together and changing the way you live every day.
